Vodafone Essar IPO plans at initial stage-Essar CEO
Plans for an initial public offering by No. 3 Indian telecoms firm Vodafone Essar is in a preliminary stage, the chief executive of Essar Group, Prashant Ruia, said on Thursday.

Indian steel-to-shipping conglomerate Essar Group has been in talks with banks to explore options, including an initial public offering, for its stake in its Indian telecoms venture with Britain's Vodafone, sources had told Reuters earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Vodafone is convinced it has no tax dues in India, said Chief Executive Vittorio Colao said on Thursday.
