VLCC Healthcare Limited, India's largest slimming, fitness and beauty brand, today opened its first franchise outlet at Yamunanagar. This is the first time that VLCC has chosen the franchise route for expansion. This also marks the first phase of expansion from the currently fully owned 100 centres.

Ms Vandana Luthra Founder and Mentor VLCC said; "VLCC franchisees will benefit from the enormous wealth of experience that VLCC has gathered over the years of existence along with a simplified, turnkey package that will allow partners to open and operate VLCC branded fitness centers with the same efficiency and quality that VLCC has come to be associated with."

"VLCC has always believed in the policy of encouraging new talent and entrepreneurship in the country by creating entrepreneurs right from inception and help them operate as independent profit centers.  And with this initiative, we are confident that we would be able to extend our commitment to support many more entrepreneurs in tier I and tier II cities to contribute to the 9% GDP growth, which India is witnessing in the current fiscal". Added Ms. Luthra

In order to ensure that   the franchising operations are seamless extensions of VLCC's own model, the franchisee would receive extensive training about the industry and the business. The staff would be recruited and trained by VLCC appointed personnel. VLCC has setup stringent quality benchmarks for the franchisee centers to maintain high service delivery, which it has always  done in all its centers in India and abroad.
