Mr. Yogesh Sethi COO VLCC Healthcare Ltd. said, "We are encouraged by the overwhelming interest in the franchise model, which the organization has recently launched.  The model will enable the company to scale up operations to 300 centres, - by the end of year 2009"

 

VLCC has witnessed growing health consciousness among the middle class of these towns and cities. With limited or no alternatives available amongst these customers in category B and C cities, VLCC plans to bridge this gap with its world-class technology and quality of products through the franchise channel.

We have seen huge interest in the services offered by VLCC and therefore feel certain that our entry into this segment will be met with great enthusiasm. We believe that the franchisee channel is the correct approach to tap the huge consumer base which still remains unexplored in these cities and towns. "  Mr. Sethi added

 

VLCC's franchising model will focus on towns with a population between 100 million to 500 million, which includes destinations like Rohtak, Karnal, Phagwara, Moga, Udiapur, Ajmer, Meerut, Muzaffanagar, Jhansi, Roorkee, Dhanbad, Jamnagar, Rachi, Kolhapur, Kozhikode to name a few. VLCC is expected to be the first ever healthcare and slimming in many of these centers.

 

The franchise centers will offer all the services, which VLCC offers at its other centers. With access to latest equipments, trained staff and technology, VLCC has given a professional image to the whole fitness industry. With the franchising channel VLCC plans to extend the professional approach to more players in the market and also make the industry more organized.
