Q: At some point, would you see Indian companies needing to go out and start bidding for projects abroad or is that a long way off?
A: We have a huge self consumption requirement here. One of the recent happenings of Dubai meltdown and things like that would be an advantage to India because a lot of work force may then come back. It is a positive for India. There will be a lot of trained man force which will come back to India and become available. I do not see any need to actually go beyond.
Q: Is trained man force the biggest concern or will that be the biggest barrier to growth?
A: Once most of the projects go into the construction phase. It may become a critical element. We have to focus on it today and try to address it before it becomes critical.
Q: We saw a lot of expats come in and help run the airline industry, are you likely to see that happen in this industry?
A: It is very likely that people from West Asia have been trained on very large projects and that management bandwith will become very handy for India.
Q: You have bagged the Sindhudurg airport. Will airports be a focus for you or is that just one of?
A: Sindhudurg was one off because it was a very niche airport. It was very close to our heart being from Konkan and it is only 80 km from the existing Goa airport. So, it is niche location.
