Vikas WSP posts net profit of Rs 50cr in FY08

For the year ended 31st March, 2008, Vikas WSP’s Turnover increased by 27% to Rs.305.30 crores (Rs.239.63 crores) while Net Profit increased by 19.90% to Rs.50.32 crores (Rs.41.97 crores).

For the year ended 31^st March, 2008, Vikas WSP 's Turnover increased by 27% to Rs.305.30 crores (Rs.239.63 crores) while Net Profit increased by 19.90% to Rs.50.32 crores (Rs.41.97 crores).

A 100% export oriented guar gum company, Vikas WSP has an export market share of 22.60%.  The company has export orders of Rs.78.27 crores in hand.

The Company is currently implementing three projects with a total capital outlay of Rs.631 crores : at Sriganganagar, Rajasthan (Rs.52 crores); at Bikaner, Rajasthan (Rs. 202 crores) and at Savli, Baroda, Gujarat (Rs.377 crores).  The two plants in Rajasthan will commence commercial production in 2009-10 and the Gujarat plant in 2010-11.  The three plants are expected to contribute Rs.540 crores to the Company's Turnover.
