Vadilal to invest Rs 10 cr to expand mango processing unit
Vadilal Industries is planning to expand its mango processing capacities to 150 tones per day from 100 tones at an investment of Rs 10 crore due to increase in demand, the company said in a press release to the stock exchanges Wednesday.

"We are focusing on increasing sales through more organised retail chains. Globally, there is an increase in demand for mango pulp," said managing director, Devanshu Gandhi in the press release.
Vadilal branded mango milk shake is now being sold in Mumbai and recently in certain cities of Rajasthan. The company also exports frozen mango pulp and mango milk shake to USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Dubai and other countries.
At 13:40 hrs, shares of Vadilal Industries were trading at Rs 143.55, down 2.61% in a weak Mumbai market. The shares had touched an intraday high of Rs 147 today.
