UTV Global Broadcasting to breakeven in March 2011
UTV Global Broadcasting Ltd, a unit of UTV Software Communications, expects to break even on the operational level by March 2011, its Chief Executive Officer M.K. Anand said on the sidelines of an industry meet.
UTV Global Broadcasting Ltd, a unit of UTV Software Communications, expects to break even on the operational level by March 2011, its Chief Executive Officer M.K. Anand said on the sidelines of an industry meet.
Among its television channels, UTV Movies has already reached break-even, while UTV Bindaas and UTV Action will by March 2011.
A fourth channel, UTV Worldmovies, will breakeven in the second quarter of the next fiscal, Anand added. Anand also said ad rates at UTV Action and Bindaas have risen 100% to 150% compared to the September quarter.
