Following growing consumer demand for larger capacity, high-speed memory cards, Transcend Information, Inc. (Transcend), a global leader in flash memory products and DRAM memory modules, today revealed its new Extreme Speed 300X CompactFlash card – a worthy addition to Transcend's award-winning line of high speed, ultra-reliable flash memory cards.
Mr. Austin Huang, Regional Head - Sales, SAARC & APAC, Transcend, said, "Photographers, both professional and amateurs, and all other power users have a strong appetite for powerful memory and enhanced performance. Being responsive to our customer's evolving needs, Transcend's Extreme Speed 300X CompactFlash card delivers amazing read and write speeds making consecutive shooting and non-stop video recording with today's high-performance DSLR Cameras a breeze. We are confident that our customers will appreciate the performance and reliability that it offers."
Transcend's Extreme Speed 300X CompactFlash cards operate in dual-channel Ultra DMA mode 5*, the fastest speed available for CF cards. This interface allows Transcend's 300X CF cards achieve extraordinarily fast read/write speeds of up to 45MB per second on average**, making consecutive shooting and non-stop video recording with today's high-performance digital single lens reflex cameras (DSLR) easier than ever. With impressive transfer speeds and enormous storage capacity, users are guaranteed to get the best performance results from their high-end digital equipment.
To ensure reliable, glitch-free data communication and prevent data corruption or missing files, Transcend's 300X CF cards are built with an advanced ECC (Error Correction Code) that automatically detects and corrects errors during data transfer.
During the manufacturing process, Transcend uses only brand name, top-tier SLC NAND Flash chips and premium quality components to ensure robust, long-life durability and guaranteed performance. For further peace of mind, not only are all CF cards comprehensively tested for compatibility, speed and reliability, they also carry Transcend's renowned international Lifetime Warranty.
