Trade ministry wants export incentives kept

Trade ministry has asked the finance ministry to continue providing incentives to exporters, the junior trade minister said on Tuesday.

"We have requested the finance minister for cheaper dollar credit at 1% over LIBOR (London Interbank Offered Rate), against 3.5% over LIBOR," Jyotiraditya Scindia told reporters in the eastern city of Kolkata.

"We have also requested for the extension of the interest rate subvention scheme," he added.
