Thomas Cook will now sell its premium holidays under a new brand name called '100% Holidays', reports CNBC-TV18.
This brand will be only for its outbound products, an offering from where it has to withdraw the Thomas Cook brand. Thomas Cook in India is now working towards becoming a stop shop for all travel related services.
With its LKP amalgamation, its expanding forex business, it already has an insurance product and may now also look at joining hands with big retailers of a retail presence.
"At some stage, I think services will come into play. There are several players, who have talked about it. And I think the first steps will happen going forward. Thomas Cook is already a large player. We will look at the opportunity, should it arise," said Madhavan Menon, MD, Thomas Cook.
