Anjolie Ela Menon's tribute: The magic of the Hutch Delhi Half Marathon has to be witnessed to be believed. It just cannot be described in words. The collage of incredible stories and emotions that make up the event will be immortalized by the paint brush of the world famous Anjolie Ela Menon, one of India's most eminent artists, who will be doing a live painting of the drama that will unfold on the day of the Hutch Delhi Half Marathon 2006. This novel theme is being attempted for the first time and the painting will later be auctioned. The money raised through the auction of this painting would go to SPRAT, Society for the Promotion of Rational Thinking, an NGO Anjolie has been supporting since its inception.

 

Auction of bib numbers: Running bibs of special numbers belonging to all race categories will be auctioned on the event website www.hdhm.indiatimes.com starting October 1, 2006 up to October 4, 2006. Proceeds from this auction will also go to charity.

 

Get Active:  A four-day health, fitness & lifestyle expo will be held at the LNDO Grounds, outside Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium from October 11 to October 14, 2006. The Expo will also be the venue for all confirmed entrants to collect their running bibs and goodie bags.

 

This four-day extravaganza is expected to attract people from all walks of life and will be a perfect platform for a productive interface with like-minded fitness conscious people.
