TCS, Wipro, Infy in fray for Goldman Sachs' $700m IT deal

Goldman Sachs plans to issue IT contract worth $500-700m, reports CNBC-TV18, quoting sources. The contract, to create R&D functions and software database, will span across 5-6 years. TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Cognizant, and IBM are believed to be in the fray.

Goldman Sachs plans to issue IT contract worth $500-700m, reports CNBC-TV18, quoting sources. The contract, to create R&D functions and software database, will span across 5-6 years. TCS , Infosys , Wipro , HCL , Cognizant, and IBM are believed to be in the fray.


Bids are expected to begin by April 2010, sources said. When contacted, Goldman Sachs says it cannot comment on specific IT functions.
