Ratan Tata's Small Car may cost more than Rs 1 lakh after all, reports CNBC-TV18 from the Geneva motor show.
Ratan Tata said that Rs 1 lakh would be the ex-factory price. That means the car will cost consumers about Rs 1.5 lakh for the base version.
The Small Car will have a monoblock 600 cc engine. Tata also said the new Small Car would be a 4 to 5 seater with four doors and have at least 4 trim levels. He added that features like power steering and air conditioning would also cost extra.
