Tata Motors ' differential voting rights (DVRs) was buzzing today with almost double-digit gains. The discount on the counter has reduced from 35-38% over the last six month to 30-31%.

The stock has witnessed a huge block deal in past three days leading to an increase in volumes.

The sellers include Tata Sons and IFCI and the buyers include HDFC Mutual Fund, International Opportunities Fund, and PruLink Asian Equity. Most analysts believe that retail investors should shift their position from Tata Motors to Tata Motors' DVR.
