To revolutionize the indoor and outdoor experience of customers, employees and suppliers, TATA Indicom VSAT Services (TIVS) has set off a strategic business alliance with Digifour Technologies (Digi4), the company offering 'SCALA' -the world's leading platform for Digital Signage. This alliance will introduce, 'TNET Signage', an innovative Dynamic Digital Signage (DDS) solution in India.
"TNET Signage" would allow the Corporate's and retail businesses to replace their static signage with DDS. This high-impact medium of digital signage, also known as Retail TV, Digital Billboards, Digital Signage or Digital Indoor TV works effectively to deliver product information, training, promotion and advertising messages in retail stores, movie theatres, banks, hotels, malls, corporate etc. where the need to communicate and provide updated information is critical.
"Today many static / digital signage solutions are available. But delivery, management and distribution of content over a large geographical spread still remain biggest challenge. We call this as a "logistical nightmare". By the time the banners/CDs reach the destination, the content may be already obsolete and stale. Satellite offers flexibility and control to transmit, deliver and distribute 'real-time' content across large networks, reducing the costs of production and transport," said Sanjay Tari, General Manager -Strategy & Business Development of TIVS.
"The reputation and proven performance of SCALA InfoChannel software platform with our TNET Signage product promises to deliver the highest quality and experience of DDS to Corporate's" he added.
The Alliance will offer tailored DDS solutions across various business verticals including Banking, Retail, Entertainment, and public facilities such as airports, railways delivering multimedia content on monitors, plasmas and digital billboards screens. TIVS intends to connect 1000 screen across the country on TNET Signage platform by current fiscal year and 4000 screens by Dec 2008.
