Tata Capital Limited today announced the appointment of Mr. J Niranjan as Head of Investment Banking.

 

The Investment Banking arm of Tata Capital will offer a full-spectrum of services that encompasses Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets and M&A Advisory. Niranjan's move to the Company is significant at a time when Tata Capital is strategically positioned to offer a full-spectrum of innovative investment banking services to corporate clients.

 

Niranjan has spent over 17 years in the area of Investment Banking and his career encompasses wide experience over all aspects of investment banking in India including Equity and Debt Capital Markets, M&A advisory and Private Equity Syndication. Prior to joining Tata Capital, Niranjan was the Managing Director and Co Head of Investment Banking at CLSA India Limited. Prior to that, he spent over 15 years at ICICI Securities Limited where his last assignment was heading the Investment Banking division and spearheaded a roster of deals across capital markets and advisory services.

 

Niranjan is a B. Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai and a MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
