Targus Technologies, one of the leading system and network integrators has formally announced its plans to expand its footprint across India by shifting its head office to a new location in Gurgaon and has also opened a new branch office in Mumbai. The new head office is spread over a space of 15000 sq feet with four floors.
Targus Technologies achieved a turnover of Rs.120 crore and their headcount touched 250 plus in the year 2007-08. Apart from this, there were many other significant customer wins in 2007 for Targus including Whirlpool, Vodafone, CNBC, DIT, WSP etc. Targus Technologies is looking to touch a turnover of Rs.200 crore in the current financial year 2008-09 and also increase their headcount to 400.
According to Col. Balwinder Singh, Director, Targus Technologies Pvt. Ltd., "Since its inception, Targus Technologies has traversed a worthy journey of almost a decade and has emerged as one of the largest IT Infrastructure Solution providers supporting over 700 clients from all verticals, spread across the country and beyond. We are targeting Rs. 200 crore turnover in the current financial year and are also preparing to become Silver partners of Cisco and be one of the Top 10 Network Integrators across India."
Targus Technologies is also planning to set up service support offices in 3 more cities in the second phase to cater to the ever expanding customer base. Besides the existing facilities at Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, and Pune, the new offices will be set up in Chennai, Bangalore and Jaipur. It also plans to open an office in Singapore this year.
