Wind Turbine maker Suzlon Energy 's arm REpower has signed a contract with La Compagnie du Vent of GDF Suez Group to deliver 23 wind turbines.

The turbines will be installed in two wind farm projects in the French Burgundy region, and the farms will generate total output of over 47 mega watts, the company said Tuesday.

The first delivery will start in the summer of 2012, and the commissioning is planned for December 2012, Suzlon said.

Suzlon Energy shares closed down 0.4% at Rs 37.25 on NSE on Tuesday.
