Wanbury turns corner in Q2, shares locked at 5% upper circuit

Share price of Wanbury has locked at 5 percent upper circuit as it has turn profitable in the quarter ended September 2016.

The company has registered a net profit of Rs 7.1 crore for second quarter (August-September) against loss of Rs 2.4 crore, in the same period last fiscal.

The company's total income was up 14.6 percent at Rs 122.1 crore and EBITDA margin was up 120 bps at 9.9 percent.

The other income of the company rose to Rs 1.7 crore and its finance cost was at Rs 4.4 crore.

At 09:29 hrs Wanbury was quoting at Rs 41.55, up Rs 1.95, or 4.92 percent on the BSE.

There were pending buy orders of 490,480 shares, with no sellers available.
