Ambareesh Baliga, Independent Market Expert told CNBC-TV18, "I think the steam in housing finance companies has just started because we started talking about this about 3-4 months back saying that the Budget should be very positive for affordable housing and that is exactly what has happened."
"The sort of sops which have been given right from service tax to income tax, they have increased the carpet area, made it 60 square metres which actually means about 950-1000 square feet because of which a lot of projects will come under affordable housing."
"From that point of view, I think one should look at stocks like Godrej Properties, Sobha and Puravankara. These are the stocks to be looked at," he said.
"I will look at buying Tata Motors at around Rs 475-480."
