PhillipCapital neutral on Jubilant Foodworks

The Jubilant Foodworks stock was under pressure in trade yesterday on reports of bugs being found by a Domino's consumer in their seasoning sachet. The company has since issued a clarification saying it was a one-off incident. In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Naveen Kulkarni, Co-Head of Research at PhillipCapital shared his views and readings on the stock.

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Naveen Kulkarni, Co-Head of Research at PhillipCapital shared his views and readings on the stock.

Our call on Jubilant Food at this point is neutral, said Kulkarni.

PhillipCapital acknowledge the positive initiatives that the company has taken in improving the price value equation, which should result in same-store-sales-growth improvement, he added.

"Market in general has been sluggish in Q2, so by end of quarter we will have a little bit better visibility on how Q2 should pan out," he mentioned.
