Bharat Electronics rises 2%, to consider stock split on Jan 27

The company's board meeting is scheduled to be held on January 27, to consider and approve unaudited standalone financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2016 (Q3) and also to consider declaration of interim dividend for the FY2016-17.

Shares of Bharat Electronics touched 52-week high of Rs 1,549.50, rises 2.5 percent intraday Wednesday as the company is going to consider sub-division of its equity shares.

The company's board meeting is scheduled to be held on January 27, to consider and approve unaudited standalone financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2016 (Q3) and also to consider declaration of interim dividend for the FY2016-17.

In the said meeting the company board will also consider the proposal for sub-division of equity shares of face value of Rs 10 each.

The aforesaid proposal, if approved by the board, will be subject to the approval of the shareholders.

The trading window for dealing in the securities of the company closed from January 07, 2017 till January 29, 2017.

At 12:33 hrs Bharat Electronics was quoting at Rs 1,532.50, up Rs 19.80, or 1.31 percent on the BSE.
