Sterlite plans to raise its bid for Asarco to nearly USD 2.1 billion, reports CNBC-TV18, qouting sources. The company has raised its bid to maintain participating interest. Grupo Mexico had on Tuesday raised its bid for Asarco to USD 2.2 billion.
