SRS Group, one of India's leading real estate developer with business interests in real estate and township development, multiplex cinemas, organized retail, hospitality and aviation sectors, has announced its definitive plans to foray into retailing of branded jewelry by launching the first exclusive jewelry retail store under its new brand - SRS Jewels. SRS Group plans to open 10 SRS Jewels stores with an investment outlay of more than Rupees 50 crore by the end of this year.

SRS Group has planned to make around 10 such stores operational by the end of 2008 in the metro cities of the country, in the first phase. The total investment in these stores during the first year would be around Rs. 50 Crore. SRS Group has deployed specially trained sales professionals who are conversant with customized jewellery design service so as to add value to the unparalleled shopping experience at its SRS Jewels store.

 

"Next year onwards, we shall aim to increase the number of the SRS Jewels stores by at least 25 every year and reach out to every major city and town across India," added Mr. Jindal.

 

The SRS Jewels store offers a wide range of gracefully crafted Hallmarked jewellery that comprises 80% diamond and 20% gold. The Diamond jewellery collection offers premium quality of diamonds with a wide range of designs both in traditional and modern jewellery that ranges from daily wear to party wear and is suitable for weddings or for celebrating any special occasion.
