Solar Power House launched by NEPC

Today at Ambassador hotel of New Delhi, NEPC India Limited launched an innovative product - NEPC POWER HOUSE (SOLAR), first of its kind in INDIA/WORLD, which is going to be the future  solution of Power Scenario in the world. The product is being  launched  by Mr. Haroon Yusuf, Minister Transport and Power (Delhi).

 

Research & Development division of NEPC, after intensive research  has developed the Power House (Solar) for both domestic and commercial purpose, (best suited for domestic appliances) which works on hybridizing Solar energy and Cell Technology. The Power House is available in a wide range of 500 Watts/ 1000 Watts and above capacities.


 

 It can charge the cell  phones, 12V car battery,  & support lighting, Fans, TV, computers etc. It can also support shops, offices DTP centres, small restaurants etc.

 

Honourable Mr. Haroon Yusuf, Minister  of Power and Transport (Delhi)  on the launch of Power House said “Its estimated that there is a gap of 20,000MW  between supply and demand of Power in the country. The govt has identified energy as the priority and has taken serious efforts to reduce the gap between demand and supply. He also added that 40-45% of power generated in India is consumed by domestic sector, and the situation may intensify with the increase in population. In order to meet the challenges of the nation NEPC will contribute 40% to the gap/fill.
