The company already has such CoE in Mumbai, Bangalore, Gurgaon, Pune and Chennai, Mr Laud said, adding it currently engages 173 people in Kolkata.
The manpower in Kolkata would be ramped up to 750 in the next two years and to 1,000 by 2010.
Siemens Information Systems notched a turnover of Rs 635 crore during the 12-month period ended September 30, 2005.
