Q: How are sales looking like? There is a lot of talk about power companies and power units coming up. What kind of order book do you have? What kind of sales growth do you expect in FY10 as well in FY11?
A: I would like to say something about the transformer industry outlook. The power generation target of 78,500 megawatts is in the Eleventh Plan. Transformers are required at 12 MVA per megawatt. That is the bunch capacity of 2 lakh MVA per year out of the demand of 2.5 lakh MVA, which is required per year.
Q: Let's not get into that because the minister himself has scaled it down to 65,000 and two and a half years of the Eleventh Plan are over and we have done only 15,000. What are you expecting in terms of sales revenues?
A: We have an order bank of about Rs 155 crore presently. I expect another order worth Rs 200 crore in the next two months, which will accumulate to about Rs 350 crore by end of November.
