Sebi proposes simplifying intermediary registration

The Securities and Exchange Board of India , or Sebi , is proposing to simplify registration for intermediaries, reports CNBC-TV18.

Sebi plans to make intermediary registrations cost-effective.

Annual fee and disclosures will be for all market intermediaries. At present, only depositories, depository participants, or DPs, MFs and custodians pay the annual fee.
