Market regulator, Sebi has barred six brokers from trading in Nissan Copper , reports CNBC-TV18.
The market regulator had initiated an investigation after complaints of unusual price movements on the day of the company's listing. The scrip had moved up 248% on its listing day.
Sebi has also asked NSE and BSE to withhold the gains of 40 entities who traded in Nissan Copper. This order is applicable with immediate effect.
