The Jet-Sahara case will come up for hearing in the Supreme Court on Monday, August 28, reports CNBC-TV18.
Sources say a decision could be expected on two counts: whether the freeze on the Rs 1,500 crore Escrow account will continue, and in which court the case would subsequently be heard.
The Jet-Sahara deal fell through in June and the court froze the Escrow account pending a decision. Ever since, speculation has been rife that the two parties are working on an out-of-court settlement.
Jet is likely to hold an AGM on September 20. Sources say a decision on the issue could be expected by then.
