Supreme Court of India has chosen Zicom Electronic Security Systems Ltd; the country's largest electronic security solution provider for installing IP based networked CCTV Surveillance System.

 

In order to thwart any terror attack, Supreme Court has commissioned Zicom to install an integrated surveillance system. This surveillance system is highly sophisticated and its state-of-art technology comprises of 144 IP enabled Camera which will be connected via Fire Optic Cables to the Control room consisting of a Video Wall with 11 LCD screens. These cameras are strategically placed so as to avoid any blind spots in the Supreme Court premise. 

 

Recent spate of bomb blasts in the country has trigged many a Government bodies to tighten their Security within the Government Buildings.

 

Commenting on this, Mr. Pramoud Rao, Managing Director, Zicom Electronic Security Systems Ltd, "The need for video surveillance is on an all-time high, following acts of terrorism, vandalism and violence. CCTV and video surveillance systems capable of capturing, transmitting and recording real-time data are seen as an important deterrent to criminal activities. Implementation of CCTVs at Supreme Court will help in monitoring the visitors and keep an eye on law and order as around 5000 people visit it on daily basis."

 

Zicom has also successfully executed several other landmark projects like Mumbai Traffic Surveillance System, Kolkatta Metro Railway, Siddhivinayak temple, B-TRAC 2010 Bangalore Traffic Surveillance, Western Railway, etc.
