SatNav Technologies, pioneers of GPS in India have launched the first of its kind GPS recording device called 'SatGuide Logger' today in one of the E- Zone outlets at Milan Mall, Mumbai. Priced at Rs 6990/-. The device would be available across all stores of E-Zone in the cities like- Mumbai, Delhi, Noida, Kolkata, Bangalore and Hyderabad.  SatGuide logger would help organizations to keep track of their assets and vehicles. Therefore increasing efficiency, profitability of business by keeping track on the movements of the vehicles.

 

SatGuide Logger is a passive device when installed in a vehicle will help one to trace back the route which the vehicle has traveled at the end of the journey. On inserting the device (which is almost like a pen drive) onto the Computer, one can derive all the details of the travel done by the vehicle in the past hours.

 

The important data that can be derived from this are:

1.  The total distance covered by the vehicle.

2.   The complete route travelled by the vehicle.

3.   The speed o the vehicle at various points.

4.   The stops the vehicle has made during the course of the day and also the duration of each stop.

 

This would benefit the organization or the concerned person who can know when the vehicle was over- speeding or was misused by the driver for personal reasons. This is useful to industries like Transport, BPO sector, Home delivery shops, Travel agency to name a few. The data from the device can be transferred directly to SatGuide City maps and hence providing the ability to view maps and satellite images, making it easy to view and overlay location information including position, speed, time, and heading.
