In his new role, Legorburu will continue to work closely with Clement Mok, a creative visionary and long-term advisor to the company on trends and new standards in design and interactive marketing. Legorburu now will also lead Sapient's own global marketing strategy, applying the vision and expertise gained from years producing innovative positioning and marketing campaigns for clients.
"Senior marketers are increasingly looking beyond their traditional agencies for marketing strategy and innovation," said Alan Herrick, Sapient President and Chief Executive Officer. "Gaston understands the future of marketing, and I am confident that in this expanded role he will build on Sapient's strong legacy in web and interactive marketing to help our clients become more innovative in how they market and reach their customers."
Sapient's Experience Marketing practice is recognized as a leader in marketing services, ranking as the second largest agency in Advertising Age's Top 100 US Interactive Agencies list in 2006. EM provides a full range of services including online and offline media strategy, real-time campaign optimization, sophisticated analytics and database management, and Web site design and delivery.
