Samaresh Parida leaves his position as Finance Director with PepsiCo (USA) to join Avesthagen in Bangalore.
Parida (47) had an 18 year stint with PepsiCo where he handled a breadth of functional areas including strategic planning, corporate finance, risk management and business process transformation as well as held strong operating positions.
He led several high profile Acquisition/ Merger and Restructuring transactions worth in aggregate over $20Billion including the high profile acquisition of Quaker Foods, Gatorade and other major acquisitions in Mexico, Germany, Brazil, Chile, Egypt, Russia and India. Prior to this, this Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant and MBA from IIM - Ahmedabad worked with DCM Toyota and Andersen Consulting.
