SaiNet Corp., a leading Internet service provider, web hosting and software development company in Japan, has chosen GlobalLogic, Inc., the leader in global product development, as its software development partner. GlobalLogic will take the lead in designing and developing SaiNet's VoiceNavi Data System, a voice-based inventory and workflow management system for the high-tech manufacturing and logistics industries.
“We chose GlobalLogic for its specialized technical capabilities in voice recognition, workflow and embedded technology,” said Taro Inoue, chairman and CEO of SaiNet. “Our partnership with GlobalLogic enables us to expand our services to a broader range of customers, all without compromising quality or falling behind on schedule."
SaiNet's VoiceNavi Data System will allow SaiNet's enterprise users to leverage voice recognition for data input in situations when a PC cannot be used in the work environment, such as transportation and inventory of foodstuffs or hazardous materials.
Japanese businesses account for more than half of China’s outsourced product development revenue* and are a major focus of GlobalLogic's North Asia business. “GlobalLogic’s software development center in Dalian, China is well situated both geographically and culturally to meet the needs of Japanese clients,” commented Kirk Tang, vice president and general manager of GlobalLogic’s China practice. “The software engineers on our Dalian team are fluent in Japanese and experienced in serving this market.”
Over the past eight years GlobalLogic has expanded rapidly, with development centers in the U.S.; Ukraine, where it is the second largest technology employer; India and China. In addition to the Dalian center, GlobalLogic has its North Asia headquarters and another development center in Beijing. The company focuses on software product R&D for technology companies, not IT services. It employs thousands of software engineers in its worldwide software development centers to help its clients deliver quality software products to market faster than they could on their own. GlobalLogic services include product testing and quality assurance, product analysis, conceptualization and realization, migration and porting, and product maintenance and support.
Platform is integrated with location based data. It also has features to get customer feedback, push offers on new product launches on a regular basis.
