In a relief to Anil Ambani-led Reliance Energy , the Supreme Court today extended the stay on the bidding process for the country's longest sea link expressway connecting the east coast of Mumbai with the mainland, reports CNBC-TV18.

The stay restrains the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation , or MSRDC , from opening bids for the Rs 2,600 crore project. Reliance was disqualified by MSRDC on financial criteria.
