Rel Retail to open 30 hypermkts across India except WB
A double whammy for the West Bengal Government in just 48 hours. A day after ITC and Infosys said that they were facing land acquisition problems there, Reliance Retail has told CNBC-TV18 that it would open 30 hypermarkets across the country by 2008 - but none in West Bengal.

According to Bijou Kurien, President & CEO, Reliance Retail, "We plan to open 30 hypermarkets by fiscal' 08, but not in West Bengal."
