 Rediffusion | DYR, one of the top ten communications agencies in India is strengthening its Delhi team with two key appointments: Vikram Raj, as Business Head and Jaideep Mahajan as Creative Head. Vikram will be responsible for clients like Xerox, Amway, GPI, Pure Earth and Givo, while Jaideep will partner Deepesh Jha to head the creative team for Airtel.

 

Sandeep Madan, Executive Vice President, Rediffusion | DYR - Delhi, said, "Vikram and Jaideep come into very strategic roles in Rediff. Their experience across their fields is immeasurable and they are going to be key strengths in our march towards a leadership role in the industry."

 

Jaideep comes from McCann Erickson, Kuala Lumpur where he was Creative Group Head. He has lead creative teams in mainstream, BTL and Direct Marketing campaigns for both Leo Burnett & Arc Worldwide. He has won 40 national and international awards for print, outdoor, direct marketing as well as design, the latest being a Gold at Cannes for Stick & Save Campaign for Trees in 2007.

 

Vikram joins Rediffusion after working as a Strategy Consultant - Communications & Information Technology with United Nations Economic Forum, USA, where his forte has been business operations, sales as well as marketing. He has also worked in companies like ITC and Daewoo.

 

Speaking on his appointment Jaideep Mahajan, Creative Head, Rediffusion I DYR, Delhi said, "I'm excited about working on a brand like Airtel, especially after the way Rediff has totally turned around their communication. It will be fantastic to work with Sagar and Ramanuj, and I look forward to it."

 

Vikram Raj, Business Head, Rediffusion I DYR, Delhi, said, "After working for the UN Economic Forum, it did seem difficult to find something more challenging, but Rediffusion offered me something very clear, focussed and a field to test my mettle in the advertising industry - something I have not had such direct contact with till now."
