With the trend of large software developers and ISVs increasingly looking at specialist third party providers for independent verification and validation(IV&V), ReadyTestGo (RTG), software testing arm of the Cybernet-SlashSupport (CSS) Group, has announced that it is expanding its presence in India.

RTG has recently bagged four big offshore software testing deals. These include a UK headquartered market leader in IT solutions and consultancy to public service organizations, an Atlanta, US headquartered IT services firm, a California headquartered Legal services firm and a UK headquartered market leader in global energy market.

The Indian market too contributes significantly to RTG's overall business. During the last 12months, RTG added a 2nd software testing facility in Chennai, struck a marketing partnership with Sun Microsystems, acquired several marquee names as customers in the domestic market and strengthened its presence in BFSI space.

RTG's service offering includes Performance Engineering, Functional Testing, Compatibility Testing, Security Testing, Installation testing (Hardware & Software), Architecture Benchmarking and Test Automation. RTG undertakes formulating the test plan and test cases, execution, defect analysis and reporting, risk assessments and recommendation.

Commenting on the offshore expansion in India, Shiva Ramani, Co-Founder and CEO, Cybernet-SlashSupport said, " Software testing services in India is growing at a healthy pace. With a strong pipeline for the year ahead, both in the domestic market as well as overseas, we will continue to strengthen our presence in India. As part of the current expansion, RTG will hire 200 software engineers over the next 12 months in Chennai. During this period, we expect to add 25 new customers in India, in addition to expanding our engagement with existing customers."
