Ranbaxy Laboratories Limited (RLL), announced today that the Company has received approval to manufacture and market RAN-Cefprozil Tablets, 250mg and 500mg, and RAN-Cefprozil  Powder for Oral Suspension, 250mg/5mL from Health Canada.  The total market size for Cefzil* in Canada was CAD 28.2 million dollars (IMS-MAT: Dec 2006). 

 

Cefprozil Tablets and Powder for Oral Suspension are indicated for the treatment of upper respiratory tract infections, uncomplicated skin and urinary tract infections.
