The software, hardware development and systems integration company Kernex Microsystems has been in focus because its railway project in Egypt is expected to generate revenues from the current quarter. Managing Director Colonel LV Raju indicated that the company has completed the manufacturing of the equipments that need to be installed there. "Almost 66% of the work has been completed and the equipments are being shipped to Egypt," he pointed out. The company's total order is about Rs 110 crore, out of which, it has almost achieved about 66% of the progress. The company has been developing an anti-collision system 2.0, required by the Indian Railways along with Konkan Railway. It will complete the development work by March 2012, mentioned Raju. "We are the technology partner with Konkan Railway and both are developing this 2.0 system," he added.
