R Systems International Limited, one of the leading providers of outsourced product development and customer support services has reported an impressive Q2 results with 98% year-on-year in net profit and an income growth of 26.9%. The Company's net profit after taxes stood at Rs 5.29 crores, compared to Rs 2.67 crores in Q2, 2005. Consolidated income from operations rose to Rs. 49.55 crores, compared to Rs. 39.04 crores in Q2, 2005. Earning Per Share (EPS) has also gone upto Rs. 4.09 as compared to Rs. 2.58 in Q2, 2005. The business performance in the concluded quarter has been remarkable as R Systems added 27 new customers in their client portfolio. Their total associates also saw an increase of 1,260 in Q2, 2006, compared to 1,009 in Q2, 2005 and 1,202 at the end of March 31, 2006. R System also gained traction in healthcare, as well as a contract has been executed for the acquisition of WebConverse, a technical support company based in the US. WebConverse reported revenues of $1.36 million for Q2, 2006. "We are very pleased to report record revenues for the quarter and increasing our YoY profits by 98%," said Rekhi Singh, Chairman and Managing Director. "We expanded in all our service offerings during the quarter and made foray into the healthcare sector with several new relationships. Our proposed acquisition of a technical support company in the US will now enable us to offer end-to-end services to independent software companies with multi-shore delivery capabilities and create value for our customers.
