Mr. K N Srinivasan, CFO, Procall, briefed the media on the potential of the service: "Presently Procall is the only company licensed to offer Motorola's iDEN technology in India and the only company to have acquired the Digital Public Mobile Radio Trunking (PMRTS) license for the circles of Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Maharashtra & Goa, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. We have also applied for licenses in seven more circles. Over the next three years Procall aims to have over 1 million subscribers spread across all industry segments and sectors. The company is targeting revenue of INR 8561 Million and attain operational break - even (EBITDA) by fiscal year 2010 - '11. For the Phase 1 Rollout in the cities of Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai, Procall's capital outlay is to the tune of INR 6,000 Million"

 

Procall's service is presently available in Bangalore and will be followed by the launch of the service in Mumbai, Delhi and other circles very shortly.
