The Trustee to Principal Mutual Fund has approved the declaration of dividend, subject to the availability of distributable surplus, in Principal Tax Savings Fund @80% i.e. Rs.8/- per unit on face value of Rs.10/- each (NAV of the scheme as on March 25, 2008 is Rs. 87.19). The "Record Date" for the purpose of dividend declaration has been fixed as Monday, March 31, 2008. There will be a book closure for four days after the record date i.e. Tuesday, April 1, 2008 to Friday, April 4, 2008 (both days inclusive), on account of dividend declaration. Accordingly, no NAVs will be declared, and subscriptions and/or redemptions (including switch transactions) will not be processed on the Book Closure dates under the aforesaid scheme.

 

Pursuant to the payment of dividend, the NAV of the scheme would fall to the extent of payout and statutory levy (if applicable).

 

All the unitholders of the abovementioned schemes whose names appear on the Register of Unitholders of our Registrar & Transfer Agents, M/s Karvy Computershare Pvt. Ltd., as on the record date (mentioned above) shall be eligible to receive the dividend.
