Here is a verbatim transcript of the exclusive interview with Namit Malhotra on CNBC-TV18. Also watch the accompanying video. Q: There are some disparate reports on what exactly your earnings have been for the work you did for Avatar. Can you tell us what you earned by way of revenues and what you did for the film? A: We worked on 200 odd shots on the film, as one of the key vendors. Revenue was in the region of about USD 5 million that we build on the entire film. Q: So not the USD 18 million that has been reported by some parts of the press? A: Absolutely not. Q: What sort of margins were you working on for this entire project? What do we have in the pipeline? A: This film was executed out of our Los Angels offices and the gross margin on this would have been about 35%. We worked on the other movie that came before Avatar, which is also one of the biggest hits called "New Moon" and we were the primary vendor on the film. There are couple of other projects for next year, but we are bound by the studios to not reveal their names at this stage. Q: How does this change your FY10 revenue outlook or performance? A: The beginning of 2009 has been painful. We feel that there is an uptake in terms of revenue and profitability. So it's encouraging to see the fact that the US market is starting to see a lot more traction from where it has been in the last few quarters. We believe that we will stand to gain at the end of there being some really good work and having built a very good profile for the kind of work that we have done on this film.
