Posco's Orissa plant plans have hit an Environment Ministry hurdle, reports CNBC-TV18, quoting Mint. The plant will get the Environment Ministry nod if the rights of tribals are settled. The Environment Ministry's letter says it will give its consent only if Posco complies with 15 conditions.

Posco had got an in-principle nod to acquire forest land last month. The project is already delayed by two years due to protests.
