Porsche Cars India Pvt Ltd. has appointed Mr. Rod Wallace as its new Managing Director. He will be responsible for overseeing the company's initiatives and operations in the growing Indian automobile market in his capacity as the MD.

Rod has 30 years of experience in the industry and has worked in the premium car sector for a considerable period. Rod is not new to Porsche.  He has been associated with the brand for more than 12 years now! Having worked with Porsche in the UK, Middle East and South Africa he has now moved to India.   His previous assignment was with Porsche South Africa where, for three and a half years, he was responsible for creating the team that quadrupled the sales and revenue of the company using his knowledge, expertise, prowess and excellent management skills.

Rod started his career at Porsche and has held every management and supervisory position within retail motor dealerships, hence is aware of the needs of his dealers in a Porsche business.

Speaking about Porsche's plans here, Rod Wallace says "Our objective is to maximize the growth of Porsche in India by ensuring that the customer experience exceeds that of any other premium brand through the highest level of customer care. The customer will be the primary focus of Porsche in India and we will make them our biggest advocates".

Rod completed his education at Guildford College in the UK and when not devoted to building the Porsche brand, enjoys a game of tennis, traveling and spending time with his family.
