PlayStation from Sony Computer Entertainment today launched the very first Singstar Room at Trafalgar Chowk, the recently launched Bandra restaurant. The one of its kind SingStar Room is a fantastic way of creating an instant party of singing contest on PlayStation. SingStar on PLAYSTATION 2 gives an opportunity of finding the best singer in the group with fully licensed tracks and videos from the world's leading stars.
The SingStar Room has been created at the Trafalgar Chowk because of its friendly ambience, long established link with music and its natural appeal amongst the young and modern audience. True to the spirit of experimentation, PlayStation and Trafalgar Chowk add a new exciting dimension to the already established karaoke concept in restaurants. The singing competitions are now spontaneous, with real video backdrops and more involving for the audience who have come for an evening of fun.
The event also marks the introduction of the complete international range of Singstar games: SingStar 80’s, SingStar 90’s, SingStar Party, SingStar Legends, SingStar Rock, SingStar Pop and SingStar along with the well acclaimed localised version - SingStar Bollywood.
Mr. Atindriya Bose, Country Manager -
Singstar introduces you to the concept of singing… not just for fun, but also pits you against your friend and scores you instantly on the basis of various aspects of singing. Your rating is based on factors such as pitch and timing, with the added incentive of being able to sing along or against a partner, or even with a group of friends in a variety of different modes.
Whether hosting an office party, a girl’s night or meeting up with friends, SingStar Room at Trafalgar Chowk Restaurant is the perfect spot to keep the party going, with an addictive multiplayer experience for up to eight players.
