Perot Systems Corporation (NYSE: PER), a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions, today announced that it has been recognized as one of the "Best Workplaces in India for 2008" by the Great Place to Work® Institute, India.

Perot Systems' ranking resulted from the 2008 Study of "Best Workplaces in India" in which more than 200 companies participated in a comprehensive two part process that consisted of an evaluation of each company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics, and a random survey to capture what employees of the company feel about the workplace. All Perot Systems India locations were covered in this assessment.

Anurag Jain, Perot Systems managing director for Asia Pacific and leader of the company's consulting and applications solutions and insurance and business process solutions units said, "This recognition is an apt testimony of our market leadership as an employer and our focus on helping our associates achieve their true potential." He further added," We have the best of the workforce and we will further strive to provide them with the better workplace by maintaining high standards and introducing employee-friendly programs and thereby building a diverse and productive workforce."

Prasenjit Bhattacharya, Chief Executive Officer, Great Place to Work® Institute, India said,  "We saw that Perot Systems' employees trust the people they work for, have pride in what they do and enjoy the people they work with.  This was evident in their comments and their feedback in response to our survey. We were also very much impressed with several of your practices that we discovered in the 'Culture Audit' conducted by our team."

Study results reported by Great Place to Work® Institute, India indicated that organizations who participated were some of the best in their industry segments.
