Indira Nooyi, Chairperson and CEO, PepsiCo, says says the Pepsi board will meet from November 11-13. "This is the company's first board meet in India. When you have a Board of Directors who oversee the company, who oversee the actions of the CEO, you have to bring them to India and show them the glory of India, the issues of India. So, that when we propose solutions and investments for India, they understand the context in which we are proposing those things. That is why we have brought them to India. I think its going to be an historic board meeting. We are all looking forward to it. India is one of the top three markets for Pepsi.

She hails Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and US President Barack Obama meeting on November 24 as historic. "This is the first state meeting being hosted by Obama and shows US interest in India."
